BREW Awardee 2008
Willie Uy, President and CEO of PHINMA Property Holdings Corp. (PHINMA Properties) was awarded as one of the Legends of Real Estate in the 2008 Biz News Asia Real Estate Who is Who (BREW) awards.
Under him as President and CEO, PHINMA Property Holdings Corp. adopted innovative technology to build quality sturdy houses in record time and at 20 percent to
30 percent less cost than other developers. The cost saving is passed on to the buyer, increasing PHINMA’s competitiveness.
As a result, PHINMA has become a success story in affordable housing for the low-and-higher end middle class - those families with two incomes totaling P30,000 a month. PHINMA has sold 6,000 units catering to this market.
PHINMA has built seven affordable housing buildings, walkup five-storey projects. It has lately gone into high-rise projects, with 11-storey structures using
the same low-cost but quality construction techniques
of modular housing.
